Corsica and Sardinia 2023

Corsica and Sardinia the ultimate riding paradise on a motorcycle !!!

Corsica and Sardinia together are the ultimate riding paradise, they  are two spectacular islands in the middle of the Mediterranean sea with the peculiarity of being part of France the first one, part of Italy the second one which means that if you decide to come with us you will go from Milan, Italy , to Corsica, France, back to Italy crossing the Bonifacio strait beetwen the two islands.  This is a fantastic experience for the feelings and the sensations that you will get in a quite short time.

The name Sardinia is from the pre-Roman noun *s(a)rd-, later romanised as sardus. It makes its first appearance on the Nora Stone, where the word Šrdn testifies to the name’s existence when the Phoenician merchants first arrived. According to Timaeus, one of Plato’s dialogues, Sardinia and its people as well might have been named after Sardò (Σαρδώ), a legendary woman born in Sardis (Σάρδεις), capital of the ancient Kingdom of Lydia. There has also been speculation that identifies the ancient Nuragic Sards with the Sherden, one of the Sea Peoples.

Apart from the history Corsica and Sardinia by motorcycle are spectacular ! Corsica lightly smaller and with higher mountains and more tight and twisty roads, Sardinia is bigger but both with small populations and in the middle of the Mediterranean sea reachable by ferry from Italy mainland in an overnight sail. Which means that if you do not have a lot of time but you want to ride in the ultimate motorcyclist’s play land, this is the trip for you! Riding these twisty roads is a roller coaster ride of excitement. Our motorcycle tour takes us over mountain roads with spectacular curves with great road surface, along seaside cliffs and through the wilderness. The dramatic views of the sea, roads running on high cliffs and mountain peaks will leave you astonished. Whether you enjoy cruising or knee-on-ground riding, there is something for everyone.

The quality of the hotels and the food is always excellent and the climate is nice and mild 10 months a year this is why we propose the tour in October with low number of tourist and, consequently, low traffic and always free space for parking and restaurants.

What bike will I use ?? Our fleet is composed by different bikes of all ages, some “old new” bikes, old for the age, new for the mileage, like BMW 1200 GS , Honda VFR, Ducati ST4S,  some vintage bikes like Morini 350, Honda 500 Four, BMW R 60/5, some new bikes like BMW 700 GS, you can choose among the list, price is the same for each bike. In case you wish a very new bike like the last model on e market of a BMW or a Ducati we have access to a large fleet but there will be an extra to pay depending on the model.

This motorcycle tour offers memorable views and unbeatable rides for either the racer or the cruiser motorcyclist, excellent for couples too.
